Skybound

In Artist’s Words

In this painting, I wanted to capture a familiar everyday scene and give it a little more room to breathe. I was drawn to the contrast between the deep blue sky, soft clouds, lush greenery, and the dark silhouettes of the electric poles and wires. The flock of birds brings movement into the otherwise quiet landscape, making the sky feel expansive and alive. I wanted the painting to feel like one of those ordinary moments we often pass by without noticing a familiar view that becomes beautiful when we simply stop and look.

Every original painting features multiple layers of paint and visible brushstrokes. Surface texture, raised paint, and natural variations are intentional characteristics of the artwork and are not considered flaws.

Colours may appear slightly different across screens and under varying lighting conditions.
