Into The Woods

In Artist’s Words

In this painting, I wanted to capture the quiet beauty of a lone tree standing in an open meadow. I was drawn to the simplicity of the scene the soft blue sky, drifting clouds, layers of green, and the little pool of water resting among the grass. I used expressive, textured strokes to make the landscape feel alive rather than perfectly still. For me, the tree becomes the heart of the painting, standing quietly in its surroundings and creating a feeling of calm, openness, and solitude.

Every original painting features multiple layers of paint and visible brushstrokes. Surface texture, raised paint, and natural variations are intentional characteristics of the artwork and are not considered flaws.

Colours may appear slightly different across screens and under varying lighting conditions.
