The Meadows

In Artist’s Words

In this painting, I wanted to capture the feeling of discovering a little home tucked away in the middle of the meadows. I imagined a colourful countryside house surrounded by wildflowers, greenery, and an enormous sky filled with soft, dreamy clouds. I used bright reds, yellows, pinks, and greens to make the landscape feel warm and alive, while the cool blues of the sky create a sense of openness. For me this painting is a little escape into a slower, quieter world.

Every original painting features multiple layers of paint and visible brushstrokes. Surface texture, raised paint, and natural variations are intentional characteristics of the artwork and are not considered flaws.

Colours may appear slightly different across screens and under varying lighting conditions.
