The Tiger’s Eye

In Artist’s Words

In this painting, I wanted to explore the intensity and mystery held within a tiger’s gaze. Rather than portraying the entire animal, I chose to focus on the eye and surrounding fur, allowing the textures and expressive strokes to become part of the subject. I used earthy yellows, blacks, greys, and touches of brown to create depth and movement. For me, the eye becomes a quiet point of connection.

Every original painting features multiple layers of paint and visible brushstrokes. Surface texture, raised paint, and natural variations are intentional characteristics of the artwork and are not considered flaws.

Colours may appear slightly different across screens and under varying lighting conditions.
