In Artist’s Words

In this painting, I wanted to portray Shiva and Shakti as two halves of a single divine presence.
I explored their contrasting yet complementary energies through colour, texture, and symbolism.
The cool blue of Shiva beside the vibrant warmth of Shakti. The crescent moon, tripundra, bindi, jewellery, and other details bring their distinct identities together within one face. For me, the painting represents the meeting of stillness and energy, masculine and feminine two distinct forces coming together as one.

Every original painting features multiple layers of paint and visible brushstrokes. Surface texture, raised paint, and natural variations are intentional characteristics of the artwork and are not considered flaws.
