Dreamy Lotus

In Artist’s Words

In this painting, I wanted to recreate the feeling I get when I look at a quiet pond and notice all the little things happening on its surface. The lily pads move gently, the water lilies seem to float effortlessly, and the darkness of the water makes every colour feel more vivid. The contrast between the darkness and the delicate white petals creates a sense of quiet balance. I wanted the painting to evoke the peacefulness of simply sitting beside water and watching nature unfold.

Every original painting features multiple layers of paint and visible brushstrokes. Surface texture, raised paint, and natural variations are intentional characteristics of the artwork and are not considered flaws.

Colours may appear slightly different across screens and under varying lighting conditions.
